While it’s true that we may not be able to serenade our dogs with hit records, accommodate them in royal palaces, promise them stardom on the silver screen - Lucy is particularly disappointed about this - or paint them into a masterpiece, we can definitely make sure they have the most happiest, snuggliest, tastiest Valentine’s Day ever. At King Duke’s HQ, no sooner have the plates been licked clean of turkey (and all the trimmings), we reach for our holiday sweaters, pour ourselves a large glass of eggnog and throw Elf on. You will know by now, dear reader, that King Duke’s is a place for dogs. Large dogs, small dogs, cool dogs, shy dogs, senior dogs, puppies; we love them all. But you know what else we love? CATS! And we think it’s time we showed them just how much.
It’s summer, it’s hot, and, well, we’re melting. So what better than to head to the nearest body of water and settle in for the day? Simple, right? Well sort of … For the most part, our dogs are delightfully straightforward: walks, good; food, great; belly rubs, good; nail trimming, bad. But when it comes to water, well, not so much.
